Dave Male is National Advisor for Pioneer Development for the Church of England. His role is to develop an integrated strategy for pioneers and pioneering for the Church.
Previously Dave was Director of the Centre for Pioneer Learning in Cambridge, an organisation he founded to equip, resource and send out lay and ordained pioneers. He was also Tutor in Pioneer Mission Training at Westcott House and Ridley Hall, Cambridge and Pioneer Consultant for Ely Diocese. Dave spent seven years as the Vicar of the Net Church in Huddersfield which was one of the first fresh expressions of church in the UK. He has written four books around pioneering issues and speaks and lectures on pioneer issues both nationally and internationally. He is a member of the Archbishops College of Evangelists.
He is married to Heather and has three grown up children. Much of his spare time is spent playing or watching sport.
